We are able to keep costs down by designing around the Eaton M90 3rd generation supercharger that was used in the Ford T-Bird “supercoupe” from 1989 to 1995. The inlet (must) be the oval as in late 1995 Ford went to a rectangular that is (not) “compatible” with this kit.

A Supercharger Kit Designed For

The Ford 4.0L Single Overhead Cam Engine.

This kit (less) Supercharger has been in production since June 22 2005

What Supercharger is required?

This is my “original” Dyno-Run that was set up for (Fuel Delivery/Automatic Transmission shift points). It was not a performance tune, but request was for a safe reliable tune for my daily driver.

Installation time is approximately 10hrs with average mechanical ability and tools.

Reliable power gain is around 60 hp that relates to around $30.00 per hp.

Boost pressure will be right around 5.5 to 6 lbs using stock 3.16" Supercharger Pulley & Boost pressure can be increased for those capable.

After install “stock computer” will learn new settings and (no) “CEL” should appear. You must keep “RPM’s” below 4,000 until a new tune is installed, as it (will) lean out near peak HP/TQ curve’s. Final tunes can be done at your local dyno-tune shop or mail order’s are available from a “reputable” SCT dealer, that is knowledgeable with our setup.

A “removal & installation” manual is included along with a complete parts list.

This Banshee Supercharger Kit is designed specifically for the 2001 & 2002 Ford 4.0 SOHC Ranger (but) is compatible to all Fords 4.0 SOHC vehicles and (may) require “minor” changes. The (most prevelant) for the “Ford Ranger is that Ford used 4-different sized fuel line connectors. I currently have in stock all the sizes that I am aware of.
